「喜び」を表す手話から音楽が生まれる。本作品は、「喜び」を意味する手話をきっかけに、ベートーヴェンの交響曲第九番が立体音響で再生されるインタラクティブ・サウンドインスタレーションです。参加者が手話によるジェスチャーを行うと、その動きに反応して音楽が起動し、周囲を囲む6台のスピーカーから第九が立体的に広がります。音楽を聴くだけではなく、自らの身体表現によって音楽体験を生み出すことを目指しました。本作品では、手話をコミュニケーションの手段としてだけでなく、音楽へアクセスするための身体的なインターフェースとして捉えています。身体の動きが音楽を呼び起こし、空間全体へと広がっていく体験を通じて、音楽と言語、人と人との新しいつながりを探求しました。「遊べる！デジタルアート展 × The Creators」にて展示。

Music begins with a gesture of joy.This interactive sound installation transforms the sign language gesture for “joy” into an immersive musical experience.When participants perform the sign, Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 is activated and unfolds through six surrounding speakers in spatial audio. Rather than simply listening to music, visitors create the experience themselves through physical expression.The project explores sign language not only as a means of communication, but also as a bodily interface for accessing music.As movement triggers sound and expands throughout the space, the installation invites participants to experience new connections between music, language, and human interaction.Exhibited at “Playable!
