1987年生まれ、福岡県出身。
2006年にテキサス州立ノーステキサス大学（ジャズ/人類学）へ入学。
2011 年卒業後、東京を拠点に数多くの楽曲提供やサウンドデザイン、を手掛ける。
2017年にUnLikeSound Productionを設立。
近年では他分野とのコラボレーションやテクノロジーを用いた音楽表現など、
新たな領域を開拓している。2022年に開催したコンサート
「鎮魂祭-Requiem for the People in Disarray」は多方面より絶賛を受ける。
Musician, Song-Writer, Producer
Born in Fukuoka, Japan in 1987, Shinji Hirabaru entered the University of North Texas (Jazz/Anthropology) in 2006, graduated in 2011, and has composed, performed, and sound-designed many pieces of music since based in Tokyo, Japan. In recent years, he has been exploring new areas of musical expression through collaborations with other fields and using technology.
The concert “鎮魂祭 - Requiem for the People in Disarray” held in 2022 has received global high acclaim. 2005 Winner of the Gibson Jazz Guitar Competition as the youngest runner-up 2020 Setagaya-ku Art Award 2021-2022 Kanazawa Citizen’s Art Village Resident Artist.
